  Nemanja Matic has all but moved to Manchester United and is expected to be announced within the next few hours after a picture emerged of the Serbia international in the club's training gear.

The Chelsea midfielder underwent a medical on Sunday afternoon and could be unveiled as early as Sunday evening after Chelsea agreed to allow the 28-year-old to join their Premier League rivals for £40million.

  The Blues had initially baulked at the idea of their player joining Premier League rivals, preferring him to make a move to Serie A side Juventus.
However, with the Italians unable to meet the financial package on offer at Old Trafford and with the player intent on leaving Stamford Bridge, it appears that the deal is close to completion.
 
  And the move looked to be in its final stages on Sunday as one picture appeared, purportedly of Matic in his new Manchester United training gear with “31” boldly written on it.
The snap appeared to be one sent to someone in Serbia, with the reply underneath stating: 'First hand information' in Serbian.

  The move will see Matic reunite with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, whom he won the league under in 2015.
He will be the third fresh face through the door at Old Trafford this summer following the arrivals of defender Victor Lindelof and striker Romelu Lukaku.

Liverpool have been told to forget about signing Naby Keita after RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhüttl assured that the midfielder will "100% stay" with the Bundesliga side next season.

Jurgen Klopp has so far made three additions to his squad during the current summer transfer window, strengthening defence and attack with the signings of Andrew Robertson, Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah.

    Keita, 22, had been tipped to join them after being identified as Klopp's priority target to bolster the midfield.

Liverpool looked ready to break the bank to secure his signature after seeking record offers of £57m and £66m rejected.

 Keita was also reportedly keen to make the move to Liverpool, with reports from Germany last week suggesting that the Reds were preparing a third bid to convince Leipzig to cash in on the midfielder.

  But on Friday (28 July), the Daily Mail reported that Liverpool were instead ready to admit defeat with Leipzig unlikely to sell the player at any price. Hasenhüttl has now confirmed those reports, reiterating that Keita is going nowhere.

"The chance [of him leaving] is null," he said during a press conference that followed a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla in the Emirates Cup. "It is 100% clear that Naby will play this year with Leipzig.

  "At the beginning of the transfer period we said we would start with the same team and of the main players we had last year no-one will go. That would be our answer now also. For us, everyone can see how important Naby Keita is for our game."

Meanwhile, Hasenhüttl refused to confirm reports claiming that Keita has a £48m ($63.1m) release clause in his contract at Leipzig which can be activated next summer.

  

Asked whether Keita has been affected by the speculation linking him with a summer move to Liverpool, he added: "He is even more focused on us and has more fun now than last year. He knows this season will be fantastic for us. To play Champions League for Naby Keita is a great thing."

Message:

After reflecting on the goodness of God, David wrote in Psalm 103:1:       

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”

 

The lame man in Acts 3:1-8 must have taken a cue from David in praising God. After his burden of 40 years was lifted, he praised God in a very dramatic way, just like David did in times past. When David praised God, his entire body was fully involved. He went to such great extents as removing his royal robes and dancing before God like one of his subjects (2 Samuel 6:14-16). He was used to leaping in praise and honor of the Most High. Have you ever leaped to give God praise?

 After God has lifted your burden, in addition to praising Him, you can give Him generous thanks - not the kind of thanks that has to be squeezed forcefully out of you. Thank Him from a heart overflowing with gratitude. Some people are just too stingy! Not only do they find it difficult to give God a good offering from what He had already provided for them, they also find it difficult to give Him thanks. What such people fail to realize is that stinginess has never helped the stingy. What you hoard will go stale, become useless or be lost. Give God thanks and do it with a heart full of gratitude.

 

Moreover, if you give God quality thanks, you will definitely receive something in return. In other words, when God does something for you and you thank Him generously, He becomes so impressed that He gives you something else in addition to what precipitated your thanksgiving. When all is said and done, you end up with double blessings. Those who give shabby thanks or do not give thanks at all cannot get a second blessing, and if care is not taken, they may even lose their initial blessings to the devil. If you look at the example of the 10 lepers who were healed by the Lord Jesus Christ in today’s Bible reading, you will discover that thanksgiving opens the door to a very special blessing: wholeness! This is a type of blessing that no gates of hell can prevent. When God makes you whole, everyone will know about it. Wholeness is the height of restoration. It is a return to the original state you were in before a burden was placed on you. As you thank God from today, you shall receive the blessing of wholeness in Jesus’ Name.

House Of Assembly Finally Pass Nigeria Peace Corps To Bill.

  Nigeria Senate on tuesday, threw its weight behind the establishment of the Nigeria Peace Corps, when it unanimously adopted the report of the Conference Committee on the harmonically of the Bill for an Act to establish the Nigeria Peace Corps.

  This is coming on the heels of court litigation as a result of the arrest and detention of the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Amb. (Dr.) Dickson Akoh and 49 others, jointly by the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Security (DSS).

  In a motion ably moved by the Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Interior, Senator Bayero Nafada, the Senate resolved that, the Federal Government of Nigeria should give statutory backing to the existing Peace Corps of Nigeria.

  This was sequel to the report of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, urging the Senate to go ahead with the adoption of the Conference Committee report.

  According to the Chairman of the committee, Senator David Umaru, the Senate would not obstruct the adoption of the Conference report, as it had already been passed, even though he said the issues raised by the Senate were fundamental.

  He, however, said the committee had met with various stake holders and consulted widely on the adoption of the Conference Committee report, before coming up with its recommendation.

  It could be recalled that, the red chamber passed the Nigeria Peace Corps Bill on the 25th of November, 2016, shortly after the House of Representatives passed same.

  A Conference Committee of both chambers was, however, inaugurated on the 8th of December, 2016 to harmonize the Bill passed at different levels.

  The Reps, therefore laid and adopted its report on the 19th of January, 2017, while the Senate only laid the report, but deferred its adoption.

After considering the issues raised by the Senate, it was resolved in May, 2017, that the David Umaru led committee should critically review the ongoing imbroglio of the Corps and other agencies and advise the Senate appropriately.

  During the investigative hearing of committee, the founder of the National Unity and Peace Corps, Prof. Humphrey Oguagbulam, besieged the Senate, asking that his organization be allowed to function under the Dickson Akoh led Peace Corps of Nigeria.

The Senate therefore, expunged the National Unity and Peace Corps from the newly harmonized version of the Bill.

Also in the harmonized version of the Bill, the head of the Peace Corps shall be referred to as the National Commandant, with 6 Deputy National Commandants representing the 6 geopolitical zones of the country.

  The Corps, according to the Consolidated  Bill, shall also be domiciles with the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports development.

With the adoption of the Conference Committee report, the Bill is now set to be transmitted to the Presidency, for assent.

  The core mandates of the Corps is to develop, empower and provide gainful employment to the youths, in order to facilitate Peace, Volunteering Community Services, Neighborhood Watch, nation-building and other related matters.

Message:

Access to divine guidance is one yardstick you can use to determine whether you are a sheep in the fold of Jesus Christ, the Great Shepherd. This is very central to our walk with God, as it determines the status of our relationship with Christ. Amassing years in the faith is not as important as increasing the frequency of receiving divine guidance. 

  This means that if you received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour some 5, 10, 20 or more years ago, but still cannot easily be led by the Spirit of God on various matters, you are hardly growing spiritually. Romans 8:14 says,

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

 

  A close walk with the Holy Spirit is the bedrock for receiving divine guidance. In John 16:13, Jesus clearly stated one major reason why the Holy Spirit was sent to the world. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and so it falls within the purview of His duties to guide you along the path of truth. If you have a knotty issue that cannot be unravelled, simply go to the Holy Spirit, and He will guide you aright.

  

 He operates in the realm of truth and not necessarily facts. Some people equate facts with truth but that is not often the case. Just as lies are a distortion of the facts, facts can sometimes be contrary to truth. Facts are observations that have been subjected to interpretations based on current knowledge, and because knowledge changes, facts can also change.

  What then is truth? The Lord Jesus Christ answers this question in John 17:17:

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

The word of God is truth. Also, the Godhead is an embodiment of truth. In fact, Jesus in John 14:6 declared:

“…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

 

  Truth is based on faith. If you will receive divine guidance, you must be prepared to walk in God’s path of truth. The truth is ever constant. God wants His children to walk with the truth and not necessarily facts. When a child of God is ill for example, the fact is that there are physical signs and manifestations of the ailment on the individual, but the truth is that Jesus has already paid the price for the healing of every child of God.

  

 For this reason, the Bible says we walk by faith (truth) not by sight (facts) (2 Corinthians 5:7). This means, you must be a person of faith. You must live by the truth and not contradict God’s word by your lifestyle. Also, you cannot be telling lies and expect the truth of God to be revealed to you. Choose to live by truth today.

 

Key Point:

A liar cannot receive a revelation of the Truth until he or she is ready to dump falsehood.

Liverpool look set to announce the signing of Southampton’s Dutch international centre half Virgil Van Dijk for a fee that could threaten the World Record amount paid for a defender.

 The Reds, earlier this summer, were forced to apologise to Southampton for making approaches to Van Dijk and interest seemed to cool over the transfer. But Van Dijk’s head has been turned and has now been left out of the Saints training camp visit to France, with manager Mauricio Pellegrino saying that the player is ‘not psychologically at 100%’ to train with his current teammates.

 Van Dijk has made it clear he wants to leave the Saints and Liverpool is his chosen destination.

  Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, currently looking also to secure the services of Leipzig’s Naby Keita , is ready to smash the transfer record of both club and position for Van Dijk and pay up to £60 million, making him the fourth major signing of the summer for the Anfield club.

  Should Van Dijk sign for Liverpool, he would become the sixth arrival from Southampton since 2014 and would take their spend on the Saints to around £150m, depending on the exact final fee for Van Dijk, with no one going in the opposite direction.

MESSAGE:

As believers, although we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we are still capable of making mistakes, because of the nature of the body our spirit man still inhabits. Until we shed this body and put on the glorious body of the resurrected Christ, we will still be prone to mistakes and error (1Corinthians 15:42-44, 1 Corinthians 15:52-54).

  Hence, we need to be more prayerful and careful in all our dealings (Matthew 26:41). To reach your God-given goal, you must avoid mistakes. You must avoid falling too. If you however fall, you can humbly and sorrowfully admit your mistake. After David fell into the sin of adultery and murder, he said,

  “For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.” Psalm 51:3

 

If you sin, admit that you have sinned. 2 Corinthian 7:9-10 says godly sorrow leads you to repentance. Those who are close to me can testify to the fact that whenever something goes wrong with whatever I’m working on, the first question I asked myself is, “where have I gone wrong?”

  You cannot make progress if you keep passing the buck or shifting blame. It is easy to make excuses. The lazy and the proud will look for every reason to justify their weaknesses or failure. When you acknowledge and confess your weaknesses to God, you trigger a release of God’s power to enable you live above them. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says,

  

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

 

  In the parable of the talents, the man with the five talents never gave any excuse for why he should not succeed; hence, he was able to double his talent (Matthew 25:14-30). The man with two talents equally made no room for excuses, and so, he too doubled his talents. The man with one talent however came up with excuses for non-performance.

  If you are always quick to explain away your failures, it is because you are too proud to admit your mistakes. Who does not make mistakes? When you err, admit your wrong doing. Studying mathematics taught me that I can be wrong. Many people find it difficult to accept that they are wrong.

 

 If you try to prove to them that they are wrong, they will do everything possible to wriggle out of it. Explaining away your wrong-doing does not make you any less guilty. Have you made any mistake? Sorrowfully admit your error and ask for forgiveness.

 

KEY POINT: 

Admitting your mistake is not a sign of weakness like many think. Rather, it is a manifestation of strength of character.

  Liverpool have made a third bid for Naby Keita, one that RB Leipzig are yet to respond to, and the player’s representatives have travelled to Austria to meet RB officials in a bid to facilitate a move to Anfield, according to reports from Amadou Makadji, the Guinean editor of Foot224.

  There have been so many twists and turns in the Keita situation that it’s difficult to know exactly what to believe but Makadji has been pretty reliable at all times throughout the process and he seems to have his finger on the pulse.

   For weeks the pressure on a potential RB Leipzig exit and arrival at Liverpool has been building, but the German club insist they won’t sell the midfielder this summer.

  Confirming an offer from Liverpool last week, Leipzig reiterated their intention to keep Keita, and therefore frustrate Jurgen Klopp. 

  The big RB Liepzig story in Germany on Monday morning is Keita injuring his teammate Diego Demme in a training session.

  German newspaper Bild say Keita committed a ‘brutal foul’ on Demme, and they suggest it could be related to his transfer frustration. Demme shouted out in pain and had to be helped from the pitch with his right knee bandaged.

  Coach Ralph Hasenhüttl called off the session immediately, explain Bild, and sent the team back to the hotel at their Austria training camp.

  Bild ponder if Keita could be frustrated over the Liverpool situation, with rumours of a fresh €83m offer.

MESSAGE:

If you have God as your Refuge, you have a priceless treasure because this gives you access to help in times of trouble. With God as your Refuge, irrespective of what is happening around you, you have no cause to panic.

 

 As unlikely as this may sound, it is possible to be under God’s cover and be unaffected by every satanic missile flying around both day and night (Psalm 91:5-6). Due to negative influences from their environment, some people have grown up with a particular phobia for the last quarter of the year.

  Between January and August, they go about their normal business activities with boldness, but as the month of September approaches, fear envelopes their hearts. As they read or hear of various accidents happening here and there, their fear is heightened. Some people allow this condition to degenerate to the extent that fear redefines all their remaining activities of the year.

   They may have to cancel all their air travel for fear of air crash. Even their road trips would be seriously reduced for fear of road accidents. They try as much as possible to confine themselves to their houses and will therefore give all kinds of excuses for not accepting any assignment or invitation during that period. Such people are being manipulated by fear!

  If you live in fear, you are in Satan’s bondage (Hebrew 2:15). Your love for God and fellow brethren cannot be perfected if you still create room for fear. When you live in fear, you give the devil so much attention, thereby empowering him over your life and destiny.

 

 Whatever or whoever you fear controls you. Luke 1:74 says we were saved to serve God without fear. So if you say you are born again but you still live in fear, you need to know who you are serving, because you should not live in fear of anything while serving God.

 You cannot have the fear of God in your heart and the fear of the devil at the same time. The moment you begin to fear the devil or is agents, you drift into bondage. If you are sure of your salvation but still live in fear, check yourself; it is likely you are ignorant of who you are in Christ. Also, as a child of God, when you engage in disobedience or harbour a secret sin in your heart, you lose your confidence and fear sets in. If this is your case, repent of your sin and fully turn to God!

 

ACTION POINT:

If your heart is always filled with fear, invest time to study who you are in Christ from the book of Ephesians.

A positive mindset finds a way it can be done; a negative mind looks for all the ways it can't be done. Change your mindset, and you'll change your life! Your attitude determines your direction!

 Your destiny is not determined by the number of times you stumble, but by the number of times you rise up; dust yourself off and move forward! Don't let anybody tell you, you can't just because they can't; you will succeed!

 The less you respond to negative people, the more peaceful your life will become. Entire water of the sea can't sink a ship unless it gets into the ship.

  Similarly, negativity of the world can't put you down unless you allow it get inside you. Staying positive does not mean that things will turn out okay; rather it is knowing that you will be okay no matter how thing turn out!

  Don't always start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday! Don't allow your wounds to turn you into a person you are not; Oh yes, the past can hurt you, but you can either run from it or learn from it! Be better than you were yesterday!

 Spending today complaining about yesterday won't make tomorrow any better. Wake up every morning with the thought that something wonderful is about to happen. If you realize how powerful your thoughts are; you would never think a negative thought. For success, attitude is equally as important as ability! 

Every thoughts you think is creating your future! Beware!

  Listen, the primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it. What consumes your mind control your life..

RAPTURE: PURPOSE AND QUALIFICATION.

BIBLE PASSAGE: John 14:1-6

INTRODUCTION:

Our last lesson revealed the meaning of the word, rapture. We also discovered events surrounding the rapture as regards timing and other issues.

 Today's lesson will show us the reasons and the qualification for rapture. May the good Lord teach our hearts and bless our lives with His truth by His Spirit, in Jesus' name.

WHO WILL BE RAPTURED?

3. Those who love the Lord wholeheartedly (Philippians 3:7-10; John 21:15-17).

4. Those whose citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20-21; Ephesians 2:19).

5. Those who will live holy even as He is holy (1Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:14; 1John 3:1-3).

CONCLUSION:

Let us be sober in watchfulness, always fellowshipping together and keeping the unity of the faith in the bond of peace (1Thessalonians 5:6; Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 4:3).

Message:

Peace is desirable because it signifies everything that is calm, quiet and in order. On the other hand, storms are undesirable because they bring turbulence, trouble, fear and absence of rest. While all storms are bad, a financial storm is one of the worst storms that can hit the foundation of an individual, family and community. One reason why financial storms are more deadly is because they can trigger off other storms. For instance, Proverbs 14:20 says,

“The poor is hated even of his own neighbor: but the rich hath many friends.” 

This means that because of the poverty of the poor, many of his neighbors prefer to avoid him. Some would even develop hatred for him just for that reason. This describes the attitude of many unsaved people to their poor neighbors. It is most unfortunate that some believers also follow this evil trend. This has led to the formation of cliques and factions in places where there should be unity and togetherness. Psalm 10:2 says that only a wicked and proud fellow would subject the poor to such treatment. Some Church leaders cannot stand seeing those who are not well-to-do. As a result, they discriminate against them, using every excuse in the book. They appoint only those who are rich into positions, even when they know that the poor are more ideal for such positions. If you are involved in such discriminatory practices, remember Psalm 12:5 which says that when the poor cry out to God, He will arise on their behalf against their oppressors.

Are you hated by your neighbors because of the financial storms you are confronted with? Fear not! According to Psalm 69:33, the Lord will hear your cry today and bring you out of poverty and reproach. Moreover, financial storms can make an individual contemplate suicide. In 1 Kings 17:12, due to the financial storms that the widow of Zarephath was going through with her son, she decide that they should just take their last meal and afterwards die. Have you found yourself in a similar situation where you are contemplating or have even attempted suicide? Stop right there! Suicide can never solve your problems. It is worse than going from frying pan into fire. See your pastor, tell him your situation and see what he can do to help. However, more importantly, call on the Lord to deliver you from the challenges you are confronted with. I rebuke every spirit of death suggesting suicide to you right now! I pray that hope be restored in your heart right now in Jesus’ Name.

Action Point:

If your financial storm is so bad that you feel seriously pressured to commit suicide, just know that your turnaround is truly around you. Don’t ever quit, and don’t kill yourself!

 The police high command in force Headquarters Abuja has detained the four Policemen who publicly took photographs with the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafria(IPOB) Mr Nnamdi Kanu in Obowo Imo State on July 3rd 2017.
 
The policemen whose faces and uniform numbers where displayed in a Facebook post by one Somto Okonkwo,a member of the indigenous people of Biafra were seen with their rifle while taking the photographs with the IPOB leader.

  A police source  told PUO REPORTS on tuesday that the Police High Command were embarrassed when their attention were drawn to the photographs which had  ignited mixed reactions among Nigerians.

 Policemen numbering four are currently serving under the MOPOL unit of the Nigerian Police Force in the Abia State command.
The policemen were said to be on a special duty in Obowo Imo State before the incident.

  It was gathered that the policemen were immediately identified with Nigerian police force and secretly taking to Abuja on the order of the inspector General Of Police Mr Ibrahim Kpotum Idris.

 The names of the policemen withheld, It is not yet clear if the policemen had been secretly dismissed from the force,but our findings revealed they were recommended for disciplinary actions over the embarrassment against the Nigerian Police Force.

The police and other sister security agencies were said to be angry with the IPOB leader Mr Nnamdi Kanu  over his directives to his members to boycott the november 18 2017 governorship election in Anambra State unless a referendum is conducted by the Buhari Led Administration.

  Ahead of the October 1 Arewa youths quit notice deadline, the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State Biafra, MASSOB, has declared August, a month of mass return for Igbos living in the Northern part of the country.

  The group said the choice of August, was informed by its significance in the Igbo calendar, as the period for new yam festival and women’s August meeting

  In a statement issued by MASSOB’s National Information Officer, Samuel Edesonu, the group said the decision was taken at its National Executive meeting, presided over by MASSOB Leader, Uchenna Madu.

 The group charged the Igbos, especially women, to persuade their loved ones, including their husbands and children, to take advantage of the period to come back home, assuring that Biafra Intelligence Agency had been deployed to Northern Nigeria, for monitoring of the situation.

  It called on the Eze Ndigbo in the 19 Northern States, to commence the compilation of names, residential addresses, and villages/towns of all Igbos living in their respective Northern cities, adding that, such data collation of the people should end on the 10th of September, 2017.

  The statement reads in part: “The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), after our National Executive meeting that was presided by our Leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, resolved as follows:

 “That in continuation of our earlier stand and position on the quit notice order to the people of Biafra by Arewa people, which will elapse on Oct 1, MASSOB insists and beckons on Biafrans living in Arewa land, to intensify efforts in relocating their families back home.

 “That MASSOB has resolved that the month of August being a significant month of special festivals of Iri ji (New yam) and Women August meeting in Igbo land, MASSOB has declared this the month of August 2017, a special month of mass return for all Igbos living in Northern Nigeria.

 “That MASSOB also mandated all married Igbo women living in Northern Nigeria, to start intimating their husbands about the dangers of staying in Arewa land, which no longer guaranteed their safeties. They should also intensify their pressure on their husbands concerning the mass return in this next month.

 “That after the September 10 deadline for this compilation, MASSOB will embark on investigation of all the Eze Ndigbo in Northern cities, to ascertain their levels of participation in this ancestral order.

 “That MASSOB urge the Eze Ndigbo in Northern cities, to carry out this compilation of our kinsmen data, as a native and ancestry exercise. We appeal to them not to betray this acts of nobility, because of their individual’s interest or favor from Hausa Fulani.

 “That MASSOB under the leadership of Comrade Uchenna Madu, will continue undeterred in nonviolence, pursuant of Biafra actualization and restoration”.

Message:

In Matthew 6:9-13, the Lord thought Hid disciples the right way to pray. Prayer is an outcry in order to be victorious. Usually, when an individual encounters a problem too big to handle, he will call for the help of others.
 In the midst of a famine, when Elijah went to ask for water and food from the widow of Zarephath, he was simply praying (1 King 17:8-16). Also, when this widow’s son died and she cried to the man of God to restore him back to life, that was a prayer (1 Kings 17:17-23). Furthermore, when Rachel asked Jacob to give her children, she was praying (Genesis 30:1).
 In 2 Kings 6:25-29, we see a woman praying to the King for help in enforcing her agreement to feed on another woman’s son after her own son had been devoured.

 From all these cases, it can be established that prayer can be made to individuals, Kings, men of God and ultimately, to God Himself. People also pray to the devil and his agents, when they go to them for help.

 There are some believers who go to their village to cry to their unsaved parents for help over a nagging issue. Such parents are compelled to consult their oracle and apply charms in resolving these issues.
When this occurs, that believer has been brought into covenant with the idols consulted, thereby giving the demonic spirits behind such idols the right to manipulate their lives. Be very careful who you run to for help!

When Rachel asked Jacob to give her children in Genesis 30:1, Jacob got angry. Rachel even threatened to commit suicide if she did not have children. Her husband’s response in Genesis 30:2b says it all:
“Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?”

She was directing her right request to the wrong quarters. What she was asking was beyond his ability. Many times, we pray to the wrong person or send our desires to those who cannot truly help us. The Bible in Psalm 60:11 says,
“Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.”

Are you channeling your request to man instead of God? Stop doing so today! God is the only one with all the resources to meet all your needs; therefore, it is wise to direct your entire requests and cries to Him alone. As you do so, He will hear you.

Prayer Point:

Father, visit all the widows in my local church; meet their needs and that of their children. Also, keep them pure and ready for your coming.

  When you ask some ladies to tell you how sure that their boyfriends/fiancés truly love them? These are the things many of them use as measuring rods for love from their dating partners.

1. SPARE KEY: Some ladies think, once they have a spare key to the room of their boyfriends, it means the guys are crazy in love with them. Dear lady, receive sense in Jesus name! Don't you know that a guy can spread his spare keys among many ladies? You have his spare key with you but you must notify him before coming to his house.  Hmmm, you are not thinking well.

  

 I know a guy who gave his girl friend a spare key and she never met any other lady in his apartment and she does not need to call him before coming, yet this guy was double dating. It was later discovered he won't bring the other lady to his house.

 They always meet in his friend's house for sex and all that. It was when it was discovered that he impregnated the lady that has no spare key to his house that they one with spare key went to throw his key into the sea.

 Wake up lady! Spare key might not spare you from experiencing heart break from a guy that does not love you.

 2: SWEET WORDS: Ladies generally are words freak. Soft words can soften the heart of many lady and make them cringe in excitement over a guy. Many guys are good in using words to deceive many ladies into thinking they love them. 

  

 Precious ladies, remember the devil had sweet words with Eve ,still, at the end of every thing, she still lost the garden. Don't be carried away when that your guy start using his oratory prowess and power to sweep you off your feet. Love is a verb (action) , not just a verbal expression.

 3: SEX : Many ladies think that a great sex is equal to a great love. So many ladies think the more they give sex, the more the guy enjoys it, the more he will love them.

 A guy can be having sex with you 24/7, yet his heart is "far" from you, only his body is with you. Never think you can use your vagina to buy love because that's the only currency many ladies use today to purchase love.

  Apart from your breasts and bumbum, what do you have to offer in a relationship? Different styles of sex you do with a guy can not guarantee his love for you. Some of you are reading this, there was no sex style you did not practice with your Ex, yet, two of you are no more together.

 

 If sex guarantees love, may be that guy should still be with you. Any guy asking you to prove your love for him through sex is simply in lust with you, not in love.

  4: SOFT FACE: Some guys have tender face. Soft face and they can smile or laugh for the whole world. My sister, the real person is not on the face. Some have soft face but hard heart, hard character, hard mentality, etc.

 If you think he loves you because he smiles easily and his face looks cool and soft, I pity you. A guy with soft face can make life hard for you if the soft face is what you call love.

  5: SOCIAL MEDIA DISPLAY OF LOVE : Yes, I love social media display of love. I do it a lot. It strengthens love and make relationship a role model for other. Yet, it is not a proof of love. The fact that the guy post your pictures on all social media does not mean he truly loves you. The fact that he uses you as his dp, profile picture, screen saver, does not mean you are safe in his hand.

  I know a guy that paid 1.5 million to secure a big space on a big billboard on the road his girl friend passes in the morning on her way to work and she will pass the same road while coming in the evening. This guy wrote on the two sides of the mighty and giant billboard for every one to see and particularly for the lady to see 'Rosemary .........( The lady's surname), I love you. ' and many other beautiful words were written on the billboard with the picture of this lady, yet,at the end of everything, this guy still ended up bathing this lady with acid on her hands and legs.

  

Love is good when he displays it for you on social media platforms, but still check to be sure it a real love.

Take that love to the laboratory and test it!!!

  Andrew Robertson joins for £8m from Hull City to bolster Liverpool’s left-back ranks and provide competition for James Milner – Alberto Moreno is expected to move on this summer if the right offer is tabled.

The boss has already had his say on the Reds first defensive signing of the summer.

  Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com , Klopp revealed his admiration for the Scotsman’s personal journey, also highlighting his Premier League experience alongside his “ attitude.. talent and skills .”

“For Andrew this is another big step on what has been a quite incredible personal journey in a very short space of time,” the boss told LFC.com .

I love his story; where he has come from professionally to reach this point. When you speak to him it is clear why he makes his progress. He has a burning love for playing football – he really loves the game. His attitude is outstanding – absolutely outstanding. His talent and skills – also very, very good.”

  

“He has experience of this competition, the Premier League, and he has the mentality and quality to get even better. I know our environment will benefit him and help him push himself even more than he has already. This is a player who does not limit his ambition, I think.”

Klopp was regularly forced to use James Milner at left-back last season and while the Englishman performed well in a foreign role, he wasn’t exactly provided heavy competition by Spaniard Alberto Moreno. Now however, Klopp believes he is ‘spoiled for choice’ when it comes to his left-back stocks.

“Obviously, James Milner did very well for us last season there and can play most positions on the football pitch. Alberto Moreno looks really good in pre-season and we have Jon Flanagan back, who can play left or right full-back,” explained Klopp.

“This signing strengthens us at full-back and I’m really pleased about this.”

Knowing this truth, one particular year, when the Almighty God said that there would be an overflow in that year, I immediately realised that there was some work to be done.

  When He then asked us to fast for 100 days, I was not surprised. Understanding such a task was not an easy one, but obedience to it produced a great harvest in joy, overflowing blessings and much more. This is your season of overflow of God’s blessings in Jesus’ Name!

 In 1st King 17:8-16, when Elijah asked the widow of Zarephath to bring him some food, her response is worthy of note. 1st Kings 17:12a says,

 “And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse:”

 In other words, she took a good look at Elijah and said, “I know your God”. Daniel 11:32 says if you know the Almighty God, you will be empowered to do exploits. ‘ Exploits’ here refers to activities that are way beyond the ordinary. God is in the business of doing exploits.

 It takes God to turn the hideout of highway robbers into a beautiful Godly city.

 It takes the God of exploits to construct the present auditorium at the Redemption Camp, even with its staggering cost. If you ever want to see exploits, you must know this God personally.

  In addition, not only did this widow know Elijah’s God, she also declared Him to be alive. One of the most profound statements in the Bible was made by Job. In Job 19:25, He said:

 “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.”

At the time he said this, he was in a most distressing situation. Things were very bad indeed. He had lost all his wealth, property, children and even his health. However, in spite of his ordeal, he still proclaimed that God was alive.

  Many people tend to believe that God is not alive or that He is not who He says He is, just because of the severe trials of faith they are facing. Problems can never take God away.

 He doesn’t cease to exist just because He has not answered your prayers. How much faith can you repose in God while going through difficult times? This is a true test of your character.

Ask God to open more doors for us to reach the unreached countries with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 Liverpool have been trying to sign Naby Keita from Leipzig for a long time and Klopp must now look for an alternative.

In less than a month, the new season will begin and the German boss needs to sign key players as soon as possible to give them time to settle before the PL kicks off.

  In such a scenario, the former Borussia Dortmund manager must forget about signing Keita and in my opinion, Liverpool have to secure the signing of Croatian international and Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

 In the last campaign, Zidane preferred the likes of Kroos, Modric and Casemiro in his midfielder and therefore, Mateo had to warm the bench more often than not. He only started 19 league games, scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists.

 

The 23-year-old former Inter Milan star is a complete midfielder, who is more versatile than Keita. Not to forget, the Guinean international has only impressed in one season of top flight football whereas, the Croatian international was a star in the Serie A before joining Madrid.

 

Kovacic can play as a creative central midfielder, an attacking midfielder and also as a holding midfielder. The Reds have lacked a top DM in their team and Kovacic can play that role effectively unlike Keita, who is more of an attack minded midfielder.

 

Mateo needs to play regular first team football next season to earn a place in the national side for the next year’s World Cup. Liverpool can and must solve that dilemma for him.

 

Keita is rated around 70 million pounds (BBC ). On the other hand, Kovacic’s contract (expires 2021) has got a release clause ( Mirror ) of just 21.8 million pounds ($28million) and Liverpool have to splash that sum to agree his signing.

Coming after we had a similar news last year, when someone from Kaduna state had express A1 in the West African secondary school council examination (WASSCE), another student has decided to take the record-breaking feat to the east!
  The popular exam conducted by WAEC saw the Shalom Academy Nsukka Student making an express A1 in all her nine subjects!
Sharing the good-news on Facebook, here’s what a teacher wrote;

NYSC Batch A Stream II Of 72,000 Corps Members Orientation Course Commences July 26th Nationwide.

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has confirmed July 26 for the commencement of orientation for prospective Batch A Stream II corps members nationwide.

  The Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) Orientation Course has been scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 15 and prospective corp members are to start the printing of call-up letters from Friday, July 21.

  Speaking to Premium Times on Tuesday, the NYSC spokesperson Bose Aderibigbe said  Streams 1 and 2 came into being when the scheme observed that corps members’ population was increasing.

“We have so many schools turning out prospective Corps members and once they register, we can’t ask them to wait for the next batch because the camp facilities are inadequate,” she said.

  She also disclosed that about 150,000 prospective Corps members registered for Batch B streams.

Highlights of the exercise are as follows:

a. Registration/verification: Wednesday 26th July – Thursday, 27th July, 2017

b. Registration Cut-off date: Midnight of 27th July, 2017

c. Closing ceremony: Tuesday, 15th August, 2017

  

The NYSC has also urged prospective corps members to report promptly to the orientation camps in their states of deployment at the camp addresses indicated in their call-up letters.

 

The NYSC scheme was created in 1973 to reconstruct, reconcile and rebuild the country after the Nigerian Civil war.

 The purpose of the scheme was primarily to inculcate in Nigerian youth the spirit of selfless service to the community, and to emphasise the spirit of oneness and brotherhood of all Nigerians, irrespective of cultural or social background.

 “We had 77,000 corps members for Stream 1 and this time around, we will be having 72,000. So, if we say the whole 150,000 should go at once, we will overstretch our camp facilities.”

The Claim Technically Defeated Boko Haram Terrorist Group By Nig. Army Attack APC Governor, Declared Missing.

The technically defeated Boko Haram, was on rampaging on Tuesday night, as powerful multiple explosions rocked Maiduguri, barely 24 hours after suicide attacks in the city killed 12 persons, including the bombers.

Reports suggest that at least six explosions occurred between 10:45 pm and 11:00 pm, on Tuesday.

Until the time of filing in this report, the Borno State Governor, Shettima Kasim, has not been seen, neither has he issued out a statement to commiserate with the people affected.

According to report, four heavy sounds were heard simultaneously, while two other powerful explosions that shook the roofs, were recorded some 15 minutes later. Details of the explosions are still hazy, as at the time of this report.

The exact location of the blasts is still unknown, because efforts to get the details were not successful, as none of the official security Spokespersons were available for comments.

The series of attacks according to political pundits, might have rubbished the statement made by the Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, sometime ago, that the Boko haram insurgency has been degraded and technically defeated.

MESSAGE:

"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31

The above scripture clearly tells us that God can be for us. It is so reassuring to know that God can stand for you. Whenever He is for you, anyone against you is in trouble.  However, do you know that just as God can be for you, He can also be against you?

 Yes, He can! If you check through the scriptures, you will see many instances where God stirred up the enemies of his children to fight against them (Judges 4:1-3, Judges 6:1-10). 

 They remained defeated until they realized their evil, repented and ran back to God. Judges 13:1 says,

“And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.”

Every time you turn away from God, violate His word or live to gratify your fleshly lusts, you turn Him against you.

  Moreover, God can personally fight or frustrate the efforts of His children. In our Bible reading, because some people refused to complete the building of God’s house, he decided to frustrate their personal efforts.

 It is frightening to see the extent God can go to in fighting His own children! In Haggai 1:6, it is written that his people worked like elephants but brought harvest of ants.

 They ate but were never satisfied, and their thirst could not be quenched no matter how much water they drank. No matter how many clothes they wore, they could not get warm.

 They worked and were paid, but kept losing their wages. Haggai 1:9 even goes further to say that if they managed to bring in any little gain, God would blow it away.

 God also prevented the heavens from releasing rain and the earth from releasing its increase. He went further to declare a famine on their land. This was God fighting His children and not any devil! Why the fight?

 It was because they abandoned God’s house and focused on building their own mansions with the resources God had given them. If you abandon God’s assignment or project in pursuit of yours, you are calling for God’s hammer.

 In any way you have erred, repent today and return to what you abandoned, and the Lord will turn away from His anger.

PRAYER POINT: 

Father, prosper all your missionaries in mission fields across the globe. Back them up with signs and wonders. Help them to win souls and to disciple your end-time army.
