Man Utd FC To Break Bank As They Set To Hijack Chelsea Move For Long Term Target.

After cooling off their interest in Atletico Madrid’s attacker Antoine Griezmann, Manchester United have turned their attention back home as they look to sign a target man that would provide the goals for them next season.

The Red Devils had hoped to lure Griezmann to Old Trafford this season, but with Atletico’s transfer ban being upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sports, they have turned their focus to other targets.

Jose Mourinho is hopeful that Ed Woodward will complete a deal for Everton’s top scorer Romelu Luakaku ahead of rivals Chelsea.

Lukaku who almost won the Premier League’s golden boot this season is one of the most sought-after attackers in England and Mourinho wants him to lead his attack ahead of the new season.

Lukaku’s former club Chelsea are also interested in bringing the attacker they sold for £28 million in the summer of 2014 back to Stamford Bridge, as they return back to Europe.

Lukaku is finding it hard to decide which of the rivals he would turn out for, as he would love to play for the two teams. Whichever club he joins, Everton expect to bank at least £70 million from his transfer.
